Project Description
BRUGES EVENING
Often referred to as the Venice of the North, for some Bruges is truly the most romantic city in the world. Dating back to the 9th century when it was built as a fortress to defend the coast against the Vikings, Bruges developed into a center for the international cloth trade from the 12th century onwards.
Wealthy merchants created a beautiful town center with lovely cobbled lanes, parks and meandering canals lined with mansions, churches and civic buildings.
